CONTAINER GARDENING

My love for gardening began when I was growing up in Kenwood, California where I found myself keenly interested in helping my father with his one acre vegetable garden and my mother with her beautiful flower beds. I never wanted to go inside and when it came down to doing dishes or picking weeds, I’d pick weeds any day!

Today I am a California Certified Nursery Professional and Certified Horticulturist for Orchard Nursery and Florist of Lafayette, the premier nursery of the East Bay. I am known at the nursery as the “Container Diva” for my unique container designs and this passion has led me to open my own business, “Thrillers, Fillers and Spillers”. 

Container gardening never goes out of style; they allow you to jazz up a patio, add charm to an entryway and bring serenity to a balcony.  No matter how big or small the garden, there’s always room for containers! 

I have written many articles for Orchard Nursery and given classes on container gardening. I love what I do and enjoy sharing my passion with others.
